  1. Ok, I'll get started. I recently bought a large, like-new brown leather Coach bag at Fashion Avenue in Edina for 95 bucks. Perfect condition, will probably last me for a decade. Came home and called the online live chat operator on the Coach web site and read her the bag's serial number (which you can find on the inside pocket of all Coach bags). Found out the original bag retails for $398.00. Booyah!!

  2. I always know fall has arrived when I stop by the Salvation Army on 98th and Lyndale and buy a really comfy, really weird-looking fleece robe for the upcoming chilly nights. Yesterday I purchased an adult-sized, pink fleece Disney Store Tinkerbell robe, with the tags on, for $4.99. It's covered in yellow and green fairies with the words "Pixie" splashed over it in hot pink, and so soft I don't mind looking like an overgrown ten year old in it!

  3. Last fall I found a full-length black velvet opera coat IN PERFECT CONDITION!!! at Collector's Corner resale shop on University Avenue in Middleton, Wisconsin. It was only TEN bucks! I couldn't believe my luck! I don't go to operas, but I do love playing dress-up, every day in fact. . .
